Chronology of cameras Bencini
In the mid-1960s, Bencini follows Kodak's lead and manufactures cameras closely resembling the Instamatic 126. The initial models are called Unimatic. They will soon adopt the name Comet for the Italian domestic market. It appears that the two series, although similar in technical aspects, coexisted for a few years.
__________The Bencini Unimatic 800 is a robust (400 grams of metal) camera in the 126 format. It is a simple variant of the Bencini Comet Unimatic II.
Its film advance system is unique: it is the trigger, moved horizontally, that advances the film.
